Samba-mania doesn't stop: the rise of this adidas silhouette, which began last year with more classic colorways and literally exploded thanks to more eccentric collaborations like the one with Wales Bonner, keeps going strong during this spring/summer season.
The history of the Samba begins in the 1950s, when the German brand introduced a new football boot designed for frozen pitches; in the 70s the adidas Originals Samba as we know today began to take shape, undergoing an evolution over the years in terms of materials, performance and style, becoming the perfect sneaker to wear on and off the pitch.
Thanks to this lifestyle evolution, today the adidas Samba has become one of the most appreciated and popular it-shoes among fashion and sneaker enthusiasts. For this reason, SEDDYS decided to design a capsule collection dedicated to this silhouette and inspired by the shades of spring/summer 2024.
The 7 models of the Samba 2Dye collection by SEDDYS are entirely dyed in two-tone, with a special dyeing technique that recreates a gradient effect between the two colors. The shoelaces and the sole are also dyed with the same two-tone gradient effect.
How does an adidas Samba 2Dye by SEDDYS come to life? Two tubs are prepared with the two colors chosen for the sneaker, where the dyes are diluted: the toe of the shoe is immersed in the tub with the first color, then the heel is immersed in the tub with the second color. The same process is done with the shoelaces, and the sneaker will get the special two-tone gradient effect of the collection.
